The Women of Worship Ministry invites all women to join us for a special event this Saturday! To celebrate Women’s History Month, we’ll be showing a movie about the true story of the WWII Army’s All-Female African American Battalion, The Six Triple Eight.

This event will be held on Saturday, March 29th, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM in Woodlawn Chapel, Room 15. It’s open to women 18 and older, as the movie is PG-13. Please, no children.

Please RSVP by March 21st and bring a favorite snack to share. For more information, please see Deaconess Tanya Johnson or Deaconess Rita Williams. We look forward to an afternoon of fellowship, fun, and inspiration!

Join us next Sunday, March 30th, for a special Women’s Day Service during our regular worship time. Our Women’s Choir will minister in song, and we encourage everyone to wear lilac, lime green, and white to celebrate. Women are also invited to wear their favorite hats or fascinators as we honor this special occasion.

After the service, please stay for light refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. Let’s come together in worship, unity, and joy. We can’t wait to see you there!

Calling all women (and young girls) who love to worship! Join us for Women’s Choir practice this Wednesday, March 26th at 7:00 PM as we lift our voices in praise and fellowship. All are welcome!

• Youth Choir Practice is from 6:30 to 7:15 PM in the sanctuary.
• Prayer Ministry is from 6:30 to 6:45 PM on Zoom.
• Adult Bible Study meets from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Room 15.
• Dance Team Practice is from 7:15 to 8:00 PM in the sanctuary.
• And Youth Bible Study meets from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

Children's Church Teachers and Assistants Needed

We are seeking volunteers to serve as teachers or children's church assistants.  

Adult and Youth Ushers Needed

We are still looking for volunteers to serve as ushers on Sunday mornings.  The ministry is looking for youth and adults to join.
